Tzer received a call at their Rumors show on Saturday night stating that they had won the 2004 CIA Music Award for "Best Coverband".

For those of you who missed the Rumours show... it was amazing. The band was energetic and the fans were as well. A few new songs were debuted... but the biggest surprise of the night was Randy's new DW drums. They sounded (and looked) awesome!!! |

July sounds like a great month to do some recording.. yes, Tzer will be back in Memphis in the middle of this month. The tentative release date has been removed and Tzer has decided to finish the project at their leisure. |

TZER will be playing a second show at Riverbend on Saturday, June 19. You will be able to see them performing during "Gene's Jam" on the Miller Lite stage. They take the stage at 7:45 PM. |

TZER just got booked to play Chattanooga's infamous Riverbend Festival. Tom, Randy, & Jennifer will take the stage on the TVA Barge at 7:00 this Friday night (June 11). The TVA All-Stars will play after TZER. |

Tom and Jennifer were in Memphis last night working with producer James Lott on their upcoming CD. The short session went even better than expected and the entire band is making the journey to West Tennessee along with co-producer Kali Johnson at the end of the month. |

Tzer has just announced that they have decided to take some time off during the month of June so that they can focus on writing and rehearsing for the studio. |

The band will be playing Shirley's Big Birthday Bash at The Rusty Duck on the 22nd with a few surprise special guests. Some new material will be unleashed and some prizes will be given away. |

Tzer is scheduled to be back at Sun Studio this weekend recording songs for their upcoming cd. Denney will be making the journey (as usual) and they hope to have some rough cuts to post on the site soon. |

Tzer has rescheduled their April 17th recording session in Memphis for May 8th. Randy recently sustained minor injuries in a dirt bike accident and the band thought he should recover before making the journey. |

A big thanks to everyone who came out to rock with Tzer this weekend. The 311 Club/Grille in Gainesville was awesome. We had a wonderful time. It was still nice to come home to Chattanooga on Saturday. The Rusty Duck always feels like a big party. The Chattanooga fans rule! |
